to keep one another warm
amid the chill of a bitter world.

The pit-pat of a Spring rain
saturating the grass, trees, and flowers.
The sweltering heat of a Summer day
causing beads of sweat to form on sated skin.
The gust of a cool Autumn wind
playing a rousing tune for colorful dancing leaves.
The hush of a fresh Winter snow
blanketing the ground in a glittering white veneer.
